Today started with us having to wait 20 minutes with a fully packed tandem in a deserted campsite, because there was no-one to be found to pay the bill to and open the gate. On the other hand, when we finally managed to call somebody, they named half the price we had been told the night before - we certainly didn't say no to that!

We made it another 80k around the coast today. It feels good to be eating some of that distance! Admittedly, we had the advantage of a fairly strong following wind and, again, a nice flat road. Part of the time, there are a few too many cars for our taste, but there are also long stretches where the road is fairly quiet. The landscape is lovely: It feels more relaxed then on Sicily somehow, but we are still riding between the sea on the right and scenic hills on the left. Whoever is on the back can spend all their time admiring the view!

Tomorrow is another stationary day, both because it's Hannes birthday (yummy goodies have been purchased!) and because Matt has a job interview. We are hoping our leg muscles use the time off to really grow after the training of the last couple of days!
