We were up early this morning, but before we could get started on the day's ride, there was some admin to take care off: The first parcel we sent never made it, so we went to the post office to inquire about it (all is still possible, we can call them again in a week....) and one of the tires was coming a bit undone so we also needed to stop by a bike shop, buy a new one and exchange them. Matt also switched the gears over so we would have a bit of an easier time today, and a good thing that was, too!

We definitely had to fight for today's progress, but we are proud to say that we won in the end. And as all the uphill struggles were accompanied by absolutely breathtaking views, the ride was enjoyable as well as exhausting.

It is very strange to think that this is our last evening in Italy! Tomorrow, Brenner and our legs willing, we will have lunch in Austria. Funny thought....
